Draught (Kochi Aidad, Tallinn) - Golden with not much haziness. Bubblegum, wheat and banana in the aroma. Lemon, bubblegum, banana and spice in the taste, along with some slightly soapy notes.

Tap @. Brewpub. Unclear golden, thick white head. Wheaty, minerally, sweet aroma. Flavor has wheat, minerals, like eating vitamin pills, earthy, yeasty. Banana in the finish. Flavor saves this beer.

330 ml bottle. Didn’t know Kochi Ait beers come in bottles, so bought a selection now when I saw them at Sadama Market. Pours whitish, straw pale. Some foam at first bit it does come down quickly. Aroma has lots of wheaty banana, some raw dough, artificial sweet summer berries. Taste is quite full, some murkiness there but it doesn’t really bother. Bit of cloves. Feels thick and full of sand? Not bad at all but also not remarkable in any way. Could probably like it more when its draught at the brewpub.

0,33L bottle (from SuperAlko, Tallinn), BB 29.07.15. Pours hazy golden with white head. Small head stays for some time. Aroma sweet, ftuits, spices, malt, wheat, salty notes. Flavor is sweet and sour, fruits, citrus, wheat, yeast, very spicy, and somewhat malty. Finish is citrus bitter. Body is somewhat on the thin side . Overall: ok.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is yeasty with some funky and fruity tones – reminds me of Puls nisu. Flavour has some grassy tones, bun dough, funky yeasty notes and some banana. Finishes with more grass – this has actually more hoppy tones than hefes usually. Some distant yeasty off-flavour at the end of the glass. A bit floury but nice still.

Quite interesting that their pale lager looks less filtered than this. I wonder what makes this a wheat ale? The extra hops? Tastes more like hefeweizen.

Draught@brewpub 27.5.13 Slightly hazy yellow color, decent white creamy head, lace. Light citrus in the nose, not much banana. Light bodied, crisp dry mouthfeel. Some bubblegum, citric, even a bit tart. Quite empty and watery.

25cl on tap at the brewpub. Clear golden with a minimal, white head. Took some time to fill the glass and it was quite a strange procedure. Looks like a lager but the aroma says different. Moderate fruity and wheaty aroma with hints of banana and cloves. Some slighly unpleasant stuff is also present. Medium sweet with some sour notes. Quite refreshing, but also boring...
