Clear cola color with a fine tan head. Looks ok. Good intensity in the aroma. Although it was not good. Medium (+) body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. A bit oily texture. Caramel and malt extract in the flavor. Oh noooooo…..

33cl bottle from Solaris, Tallinn. Pours clear chestnut coloured with a slightly tanned head. Malty and fairly caramelly aroma with lighty toasty notes, hints of bread and hops. Sweet and malty with a lightly spicy bitterness in the finish. Hardly exiting, and not exactly my favourite style, but quite decent. --- Beer merged from original tick of Munk on 09 Apr 2015 at 18:47 - Score: 6

Tap @ Brewpub. Cola brown, thin off white head. Bready, caramel, aroma. Flavor has some metal, caramel, sweetness, malt. Very thin body. Forgettable. The blood/metal notes grows the more u drink. And no, I’m not bleeding :)

330 ml bottle. Pours mahogany, dark red. Has a nice foam that reduces soon into a quite thin layer. Not much carbonation. Aroma is sweetish, caramel, melted sugar candy. Taste has a slight hop not but also sweet caramelly base. Aftertaste turns a bit too bitter, raw, in a not very balanced way, kind of falls apart at the end. Overall, I guess not bad for the style, quite drinkable.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is malty and syrupy with some christmas bread. Also some distant sewer tones. Flavour has sweetish malty tones, syrup and some bread. Some herbal and spicy tones in the background. Too sweet and sticky.

Also some berry tones typical to dunkler bocks show up when this warms up.

Tap@Kochi Ait Deep ruby, clear color, small steady beige head. Aroma has some malts, alcohol and hints of chocolate. Medium-bodied. Quite simple flavor, some toasted malts, caramel and chocolate. Clean but could have more character.
