Bottle at home. Pours jet black with handsome beige head. Nose is chocolate, slight coffee, moderate hops and some sweetness too. Tastewise is fundamentally bitter, coffee and some chocolate come through first and then the hops, but not quite in a pronounced way. Medium bitter finish, light body and soft to average carbo. Pleasant beer, but expected even more tbh.

Dark brown color with brownish tan head. Bread, roasted malt, coffee, fruits aroma. Moderate bitterness. Full body, oily texture with lasting hoppy finish

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, fruity hops, coffee, citrus, orange, some pine resin, touch of cocoa. Lots of coffee and bitter hops in the finish. Flavour is moderate sweet and nicely roasty hoppy bitter. Body is medium. Very nice Black IPA!

Bottle bought at a Lidl in Poznan. Black with a tan head. Licorice, grapefruit and some chocolate. Quite nice.

Thanks to djoeye for sharing a 500ml bottle of this one. Huge fawn-coloured head fading over a jet black body. Spotty lacing. Promising malt-fruity smell, hints of ripe fruits and caramel malts. The flavour character has got grainy fruits, earth, and herbal hops with a piney touch towards the ending, lightly roasted. Fine depth. Likable. (Polish beer session with Finn and djoeye, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 04.11.2020).

Klare dunkelbraune Farbe mit beiger Schaumkrone. Malziger, fruchtiger, hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich röstmalzig mit Karamell, fruchtig, hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.
