33cl bottle (as "Koch Porter Eripruul", 7,5%) from Solaris, Tallinn. Pours close to black with a minimal, beige head. Mild roasty aroma with chocolate, caramel, dark fruits and hints of licorice. Sweet with mild roasty flavours and a light bitterness. Feels a bit thin and slightly messy, but still fairly drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Porter on 28 Apr 2015 at 20:28 - Score: 5

Draught @ Brewpub
Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, sweet syrup, toffee and sticky sweetness. Taste is sweet, syrupy and messy with loads of sugar, toffee and hints of yeast. Finish is sweet, sticky and stuffy with loads of syrup. Quite unbalanced.

330 ml bottle. Pours black-brown, with a thin beige head. Aroma is quite off putting at first, acetone jumping into your face. When t warms a bit there is some vinous caramel sweetness too but well, not too nice. Taste is sweetish toffee and caramel, boiled veggies and somewhat unpleasantly raw finish. Relatively weak body, sugary sweetness making it a bit stronger. When other beers from Kochi Ait managed to surprise me then this one is actually a disappointment, I was already expecting more.

0,33L bottle (from Superalko, Tallinn), BB 12.08.15. Pours dark brown with light brown head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is very sweet, candy sugar, caramel, malt, dark chocolate. Flavor is very sweet, syrupy, malt, caramel, roast, fruits, smoky notes, dark chocolate, and something oily. Finish has some bitterness. Alcohol is rather well covered. Overall: ok brew. Note: it may be alias for Talveporter, but the ABV and name doesn’t match. I haven’t tried the tap version, hence I can’t say.

(Keg at Kochi Ait Trahter, 20141227) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had caramel, toffee and roasted malts. Palate was medium bodied and lightly sticky with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, toffee, caramel, nutmeg, clove, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. A way too sweet brew. The ABV was rather well hidden.
