330 ml bottle. Pours dark coffee brown with a beige head that is gone fast. Aroma is heavily roasted with some tar-like dark fruit essence and burnt black bread. Taste is also quite heavy with roast flavours, sweet malt undertones are nicely balanced with some hop/roast bitterness. Dark fruits, coffee and chocolate are also there, no doubt! Aftertaste is long, dry and feels like after a bite of dark bitter chocolate. Very nice take on a foreign stout style by Õllenaut - terviseks!

33cl bottle as a gift in Tallinn. Pours very dark with a small tan head. Aroma of dark malt with dark fruits, dark chocolate and some roasty notes. Medium sweet with nice malty flavours and a balanced bitterness. A really nice one. (2014-02-02)

Bottled at Pörgu. Deep brown color, small brownish head. Aroma is caramelly, light veggie notes. Medium-bodied. Caramalt, some toasted notes and chocolate. Nothing special but brewed without off-flavors. This brewery has future.

Batch 006, 330ml bottle. Appearance: very dark brown with small brown head. The head disappears quickly. Aroma: sweet, liquor, light burnt notes, roast. Taste: very strong roasted malt, some sweetness and sourness in the background, alcohol is slightly noticeable, but really pleasant for 7.9% beer. Finish is long ashy bitter with slight alcohol burn. Overall: it’s really nice how alcohol is hidden, but the burnt feeling is a little bit too overwhelming for me. horizontal. Batch 006 vs batch 225. Old one is a lot fruitier and complex. Great: rating for the old one: 8:3:8:4:16=3.9. new one would be around more 3.3.
