20.10.2018, 0,33l bottle (2017 vintage) @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, light reddish color. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, red berries yoghurt candy, wet grass, butterscotch, minerals, dusty vanilla, hay, paper. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, wet grass, hay, weeds, minerals, dusty vanilla, red berries, weeds, paper, fruit stones, butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Way over the top.

Bottle. A murky candy red beer with a pinkish white head. Fruity aroma with raspberry and a malty touch. Fruity flavor too, or berry-ish I should say as it's mostly raspberry, with cherry and a touch of vanilla, and a lactose kind of sweetness. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Berry finish. Not a Christmas beer in my book, but sure drinkable. 171209

Bottle from the brewery. Unclear pinkish orange body with a lacing, small white head. Aroma has mild cherry juice with cherry and raspberry candy. Flavor is a bit sweet with mild fruity acidity, cherry, hint of vanilla, almond and some lactose kind of sweetness. Medium body and aftertaste in same style. A rather strange brew actually, not really sweet and neither really sour but hardly in balance either. Served cold the slightly sour candy sweetness might work as some kind of refreshing aperitif, but end up a bit too sweet for me, especially when not cold anymore. I actually put it asides during my dinner preparation and ended up having the half bottle together with my spaghetti carbonara. Surprisingly enough it actually worked best together with the food – believe it or not. Drinkable but not great, mostly a funny novelty beer IMO.
