Bottle. Slightly unclear amber body with a medium sized beige head. Aroma has caramel malt with Christmas spices that gives a feeling of being a bit off (these kind of spices tends to be short lived in beer). Flavor is medium sweet malt, caramel, toffee and some of the same “dusty” kind of Christmas spices. Medium body and a bit dry, dusty in aftertaste. Drinkable but a bit one-dimensional and not very fresh in flavor.

Bottle. An unclear, reddish brown beer with a small, dense, off-white to beige head. Malty, chocolatey and bready aroma that is rather weak. Pleasant piney nose. Rather meaty. It's lightly smoke-ish, meaty and bready, with notes of chocolate and some pine cones. It's medium bodied, smoothly carbonated and with a nice carbonation. Lasting finish. A rather boring one, expected more from Kjerlingland. 171111
