On tap @ Bergen Beer Craft Fest. Pours cloudy yellow, with a small creamy head. Aroma is hoppy notes of apricots and tropical fruits. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is hoppy, with apricots and citrusy notes.

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly fresh grassy, leafs, hay, minerals, weeds, hops, moss, sawdust, citrus peel, hints of dusty vanilla sugar. Taste is slightly dry grassy, leafs, moss, minerals, weeds, grass, dried fruits, light malts, citrus peel, hops, hay, flowers. Medium bitterness, slightly dry grassy mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Bakgården Både & 290417. Unclear golden-orange body with a white head. Aroma is pineapple, tropical fruits. Flavor is malt, hop, mango, pineapple, tropical fruits, orange, pine, grapefruit. Nice easy drinkable beer.

On tap at Både&. An unclear orange colored beer with a small white head. Very tropical aroma with grapefruit and pine cones. Some milksugar in the flavor, a good bitterness and lots of generic tropical fruits. Lots of grapefruit. It’s full bodied and dry, with a pleasant carbonation. Dry, bitter and fruity finish. Refreshing, tasteful and quenching. 170429

On tap @ Bakgården Både &, Kristiansand. Hazy crazy yellow body with a big white head that disappears and only leaves the lacing behind. Aroma is tropical juice with grapefruit. Flavor is also tropical juice with grapefruit. It actually feels bitter but not like hoppy bitterness – its citric zest and bitter grapefruit. The body is perfect for a tropical juice and aftertaste just like the rest of the flavor. As a NEIPA it’s probably perfect, spot on for the beardy, tattooed hipsters and the cool kidz. For me this is too much juice and too little beer - with love from a grumpy old man!
