MAJA Haze

Heretic Brewing Company in Fairfield, California, United States 🇺🇸

IPA - New England / Hazy Regular
Score
6.99
ABV: 6.5% IBU: 40 Ticks: 51
Formerly named "Make America Juicy Again"

Hazy, luscious, and full of tropical fruity and citrusy hops. This beer is brewed with no bittering hop addition, just whirlpool and insane amounts of dry hopping. That results in a gentle bittering and a huge, juicy hop profile.

De fijne moutbasis van een american IPA met het fruitige van een juicy IPA. Meer klassiek gestoeld dan "modern", wat erg fijn is

Ok, another IPA, from california none the less. Why would you want to make an east coast IPA on the west coast? Doesn't everything start in callie and then work east? This is a reverse of things eh? For a NE IPS, this stuff is completely clear. Just like callie, say something but you mean the opposite. Must be a bunch of wannah beez out there. Yes, its perfectly clear with a big white head, doesn't even look like an IPA, WTF? Smell is leathery floral hops. Taste? Well yes, at least it does taste like a big nasty IPA, terribly on taste style. IT even leaves a warming sensation on the throat as you swallow, quite odd for a 6 and a halver. Big nasty bullshitty beer fer sher. Yes, its another IPA tick. What else can be said but there are a gahzillion of these out there and they all taste the same. Straight up ass IPA. Not impressed. Just keep your IPA in callie, we got our own over here and they are real IPA, not wannah beez.

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt., Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Yellow colour, only slightly hazy. Small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and spruce. Refreshing flavour with the same elements. A moderate malty and fruity sweetness too, not too much.

Can. An unclear, pale yellow-golden colored beer with a small white head. Fruity aroma, citrusy, with grapefruit and a pine cone touch. It’s medium bodied, dry and softly carbonated, with a nice bitterness. Grapefruit, pine cones, some resins and a touch of orange in the flavor. Some pale malts. Lasting fruity finish. Easy drinkable, refreshing and quite tasteful, although a tad one dimensional. 191004
