Bottle @ the brewery shop. Slightly unclear golden body with a fine, white head. Aroma is spot on classic Saison with Belgium yeast, some general fruitiness and typical saison yeast spices and balanced mild esters. Flavor is also very true to style, moderate sweet pale malt, fruity and spicy with pepper and some easter, low but distinct bitterness. Balanced body and smooth aftertaste. Among the best Saisons if looking for the clean, classic style without any funk, wood or other tricks. Highly enjoyable and spot on to the label.

On tap at Mungat Ølgjerd. It pours an unclear orange body under a minimalistic off-white head. Just some bubbles actually, not a real head. The aroma has overripe plums, apple jam and some diacetyl. Mostly on the fruity side, with little maltyness or scents produced by the yeast. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and with a rather low carbonation level. The flavor feels a bit sweetish, like jam in a way, with plums, apple and diacetyl. Just hints of impact from the yeast. Short finish. An uninteresting one, too far from what I expect from a Saison. 180317

330 ml bottle, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma with notes of spicy saison yeast, malts and stewed fruits. The flavour is slightly sweet, fruity, malty and moderately spicy. Good mouthfeel for a 4.7% beer.

On tap at B�din Beer Festivalen. The colour is hazy dark straw with an off-white head. Fruity aroma of gooseberries, grains, oak and some smoke. Malty flavour of wet hay, grass, almonds and sweet malt. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. A little strange. Lots of malt and tends to a tripel. Decent flavour though.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, slightly cloudy. Aroma is slightly sweet floral, sap, wash cloth, yeast, old hay, minerals, fruit stones, wet grain, sawdust, bark, flowers. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, weeds, sap, sour grass, yeast, old sour wash cloth, paper, yeast, sawdust, bark, wet grain, fruit stones. Little bitterness, sweet sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle at home. Pours hazy deep golden with off-white head. Aroma of bananas, fruits, spices (pepper). Tastes slightly sweet with little bitterness. Thin bodied.

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 08.05.18. Clear golden. Quickly diminishing head. No lacing. Aroma and taste of pale malt, grass, meadows, wheat and Belgian malt. A bit dull.

0,33 flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: lett uklar gylden med kort skum. Behagelig kryddret aroma og smak med hint av gjær, høy, citrus og hvit pepper. I tillegg fine florale toner fra Saaz-humlen. En balansert og lettdrikkelig saison med bra munnfølelse og akkurat passe med sødme i finishen. Drikker gjerne denne igjen.

Gladmat 2016. Golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is fruit, yeast, malt. Flavor is fruit, malt, yeast, spices. OK beer.
