Had this one warm after a lot of heavy beers Well I thought it was dull and boring 2 try….cold and a starter Hmmmm absolutely fine The honey and lime combo worked. Freshen it up Some ginger also. Plum….hmm yeah maybe. Rhubarb drowned in all the other stuff I gladly have another one [Bottle from Tommy and Beate]

Flat, cloudy light orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, oak, fruit stones, sour plums, lime, dried fruits, alcohol, perfume, minerals, honey. Taste is sweet sour-ish concentrated fruity, dried fruits, lime, sugar, honey, soda powder, sour plums, perfume, fruit stones, bark, alcohol. Sweet sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle. An almost clear mead, golden in color and still. Lightly oily pour. The aroma is a quite pleasant blend of honey and fruityness, with blue plums doing most of the fruit work. Ginger, lime and rhubarb are barely detectable, not even sure I caught the lime and rhubarb, just some sourish fruityness. It's full-bodied, sweet and warming, with the honey more to the front in the flavor than it was in the aroma. Some cellar notes too, and there's also a more pronounced fruityness. Long finish. Overall, a nice blend of honey and fruityness, but a tad gently on the nose I think. 201231

Lys gul lett tåkete uten skum. Masse frukt og honning. Fersken, aprikos, noe vanilje og noe pepper og ingefær. Fyldig. Søt. Honning, mer ingefær i smak, aprikos og fersken.
