440ml can, batch 77, bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Dissipating beige head, spotty lacing, clear ruby-copper body. Quite inviting on the nose with bread, toffee and a note of smoke. Smoked malt-driven flavours supported by brittle caramel and dried fruits. Prolonged ending with dried fruits and smoked malts. Something else, and rather pleasing. (Bodø Panorama, 28.06.2024).

solsletta YG 220422. Amber color with a beige head. aroma is fruit, grass, caramel. Flavor is fruit, caramel, grass, pine, cellar note, alcohol, raisin, bread. Nice beer.

Can. An almost clear one, deep chestnut colored, with a firm, finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma is quite malty, with bread crust, toffee, raisin and prune. Some generic fruityness, grass and a vague hint of pine cones and dusty cellar. It's full-bodied, smooth and softly carbonated, with a good blend of sweetness and bitterness. A touch of alcohol too. Roasted malts, toffee, raisin and prunes, bread crust and some piney, grassy hops in the flavor. Perhaps a bit too much on the wort side in the finish. Anyway, it's rare to find a good bock from Norwegian micro breweries, this is sure one of them. Tasteful, quite complex yet easy drinkable. 220422
