On tap at the brewpub. A dark amber to brown beer with a nice beige head. Caramel, dark dried fruits, some roasted malts and coffee and a touch of nuts in the aroma. It's full to medium bodied, smooth and faintly warning with mostly dark malt flavors. Caramel, dark dried fruits, a strange sweetness, some dark chocolate and nuts in the flavor. Lasting finish. A bit cloying, but decent. 220125

Tap @ the brewpub. Clear amber body under a nice, two finger sized tan head. Aroma has brown malt, bread, and moderate fruitiness. Taste is malt, balanced sweetness, hint of caramel, some generic fruit, a little hint of licorice and moderate bitterness. Balanced body with decent aftertaste. Quite straight forward, uncomplicated beer, still well made and easy drinkable. Probably a god match to burgers and grilled meat. Enjoable alone as well.
