Bottle, 75cl. It's a clear, still, deep golden colored cider. Delicious apple aroma with hints of grass, yeast and apple cores. Some alcohol too, which surprises me a bit. Feels quite sourish, acidic fruity on the nose, but in the mouth there's some sweetness. It's full-bodied and lightly carbonated. with a touch of yeast in the flavor. Some grass, apple cores, hints of apple pie and lemon, and lots of fresh apple. Quite dry finish with lots of fresh apple, hints of yeast and cellar, as well as some grassy hints. Could perhaps wished for a bit more complexity, but overall it's just a straight forward, delicious and easy drinkable cider I'd love to have available all the time. 211219

Notater fra Fridtjofens Hardangertokt aug-20: 0,375 flaske fra produsenten, delt på skuta ved kai i Leirvik, kvelden før vi setter kursen mot Stavanger etter en fantastisk uke. Klar gylden med kort bruseskum og perlende munnfølelse. Å du salige sier kapteinen, det virker som han er nær ved å gi opp sin ølkarriere. Den varte og den rakk, sier skogsmatrosen. Hvorfor bry seg om prosecco og cava når man kan få slie produkter? Norsk tradisjonsdrikk på sitt aller beste. Aromaepler og villgjær. Superfrisk og akkurat passe søt med hint av kanel. Zesty finish.

Bottle from the fruit farm. God looking, clear golden body with a very fast fading white head. Light sparkling carbonation. Aroma is almost pure apple, some sulphite just at the first sniff but it disappears quite fast. Taste is plain apple with a fine balance between sweetness and acidity, refreshing and tasty. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Nothing complex going on really, but sure a fine basic cider with taste and god balance.

Bottle shared with Holmen1 and JFE on board Fridtjofen at Leirvik 15.08.20. Clear straw colour.Absolutely suberb and complex aroma and taste of sour cider apples and old wild apples. Crisp mouthfeel.

Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, sorrel, apple cores, hay, apple peel, alcohol, sour apples, citrus, yeast. Dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.
