Small fizzy shortlasting head, clear dark golden color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, grass, sour apples, hay, flowers, sorrel, apple peel ripe pears. Taste is strange fruity, sweet apple juice, hay, bark, alcohol, minerals, grain, paper, apple peel, grass, sour pears. Sweet grainy mouthfeel. Nice aroma, messy taste...

750 ml clear bottle, as Ciderhuset Keisarinne, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Nice aroma of Keiserinne (Empress) pears. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Medium sweet flavour of pears.

Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has notes of apple, funk and yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet with a long apple and light funky finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Golden color with no head. Aroma is peasr, apple, sourness. Flavor is pear, apple, sugar, sourness, alcohol, cellar. Nice.

Bottle, 75cl. It's a clear one, golden in color, almost completely still. No head. The aroma is mostly on the pear side, but borderline apple, with some hints of cores and grass. Alcohol too, as well as some yeast and cellar. It's full-bodied and warming, smooth and softly carbonated, with a flavor that could easily be mistaken for apple. Pear dominates though, it's a bit sweet perhaps, with some grass, cellar hints, flowery notes and alcohol. Some yeast too, and a sweet, warming and pear driven finish. Sure a nice one, a bit sweet I think, but definitely one of the finer perries I've had. 211219

Klar brun farge med hvitt skum. Lukter pære og blomster. Søtlig i smak. Noe tam synes jeg. Mild og lettdrikkelig. pære og litt krydret i smak.
