Can, at Håndverksølfestivalen. It's an OJ looking beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving curtains. The aroma is grapefruity and piney, with some tropical fruit hints and some pale malts. Pine cones and a touch of grass. It's full-bodied, almost chewy, nicely carbonated and quite dry for the ABV, with a soft bitterness. There's some malty sweetness and flavors of pale malts, even a hint of white bread, but the focus is on the hops. Grapefruit, pine cones, tropical fruityness and some grass. Alcohol too, all the way from the nose to the swallow, but not in a pushing way. Perhaps a bit much oats and wheat here, but it's sure a pleasant beer anyway. 190608

Taste from a can. The nose is caramel, pine, rotting grass clippings, rye, and funk. Awful bitterness. Light to medium body. This is is either a poor IPA, or much too old.

Pale and hazy, lots of bright grapefruit hop. Fairly thick head. Hop nose is also quite dank. Hazy TIPA, crazy. Rich weedy hop, but the pale malts are really underdeveloped. That makes it a very drinkable tipa but it loses a little something on the richness of the style. Drinking like an IPA, hey I like it, even if it doesn’t fit the classic take on the style.

Threes, Can Jam Brooklyn: pours hazy with a white head. Aroma is super pungent fruitiness... papaya, mango, all that. Taste is lightly bitter. Relatively sweet. Large tasting. Kind of malty. Interesting.

Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen - big hazy yellow to light orange pour with white head. Resonating juicy fruity notes of grapefruit and tangerine, some juicy mango, some melon, peachy notes, smooth mouthfeel and medium body, assertive hoppy finish. Gorgeous stuff!

Pint can, thanks Jon . . . and Wally, pours with a murky dull papery gold dirty straw body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, warm pineapple, guava and hot cantaloupe. The taste delivers a blend of bitter grapefruit and warm pineapple with mildly boozy cantaloupe, mango and guava. The bitter hops pick up a grassy and almost resiny sensation into the finish. Nice.
