Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, amber beer with a finger-thick white head. Weak nose with caramel dominating. Slightly vegetal too, and with some piney hops. The flavor too has some cooked vegetables, along with pale malts, bitterness and pine cones. Medium body, pleasant carbonation level. Slightly metallic in the end. A beer that isn’t all clean, and if it wasn’t for the bitterness, would be dull too. 110318

Flip-top bottle: Amber coloured, small, quite stable off-white head; distinctive (toasted-) malty-caramelly nose with a grainy touch and a tinge of milk-chocolate; light to medium bodied, "tamed" sweet flavour; distinctive caramelly maltiness in the finish with a good dash of bitterness in the aftertaste. A pleasant, well-balanced Dunkel.........

A pale amber beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet - and some weird notes amongst them metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, dust, and metal. I believe the dustiness comes from the hops used.
