0,34 boks fra Vaaland 1889, i solkroken en nydelig søndagskveld i september, årets siste sommerdag? Klar rødgylden med ok skum. Dufter og smaker som syrligfrisk bringebærsaft/brus. Pluss litt malt, naturligvis. Fin og sommerlig aperitiff med overraskelser lang ettersmak.

Can at home. Pours a hazy red colour with a pink head. Aroma of raspberries, earth, flowers and winegums. Flavour of raspberries, lemonade and wheat in the background. Has slick and slightly silky mouth feel, light body and a soft bitterness. Well balanced sweet berry flavour with a sour backbone. Not far from a lemonade but interesting enough.

Can, at Sørlandet Matfestival. A clear deep red beer with a finger thick pinkish head. The aroma is lightly doughy, with raspberry and a gentle lemon hint. It's medium bodied and sour, softly carbonated, with a lemony, raspberry flavor. Some dough notes and a touch of pale malts. Refreshing. 230707
