This Polish Trójniak is mildly sweet, with a distinct taste of ripe plum. It is produced by combining 1 volume part of honey with 2 volume parts of water, where more than 30% of the water has been replaced with plum juice. Perfect as an aperitif.

Bottle pour at Pasieka, pours a clear copper. Aroma has lots of rich honey nectar, old furniture, and a touch of floral character. Flavour has a slightly tart, rich honey nectar character, with a lighter body than some other trojniaks. Wonderfully crafted.

Bottle. An almost clear one, deep golden in color, still and lightly oily. Honey driven aroma with some flower and herb. Grassy. It's full to medium bodied, sweet and warming, with lots of honey flavor. Herbal and flowery, and a bit alcoholic. Long finish. A bit rough, but quite decent. 230311
