Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, starts smooth but soon develops good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth creamy malts. Smooth cooling pine into a fairly obvious savoury but soft skunk. Mild modern Mosaic candy fruits into mellow Sabro. Hmmm, what is it with Beak and their sparing use of Sabro? Whisper of Nelson grape. Smooth finish. A pretty easy drinking Tipa, could have a bit more Sabro oomph.

On tap at Tæps. An orangey golden colored beer with a nice white head. Some lacing. The aroma has tropical fruityness, some green grape and a bit too much alcohol. Gentle maltyness in the back. It's full-bodied and quite warming, with a soft carbonation. Lightly sweetish, with mostly tropical fruityness. Can't really pin any of the fruit, it's rather generic tropical. Pine cone hints, alcohol and a touch of sweet pale malts. Lasting finish. Quite nice, but the alcohol level is too noticeable. 240620

Can at home, from HOTM online, 25/06/24. Murky orange with a good sized lasting creamy white cap. Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, freshly squeezed orange, apricot, mandarin, guava. Taste comprises mixed tropicana, mango pulp, pine resin, mandarin, guava, hint of lime zest, soft malts, pineapple. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness spiked with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Solid TIPA ... good bitter sweet balance without ever getting cloying or too sticky. Not sure why this was sat on just 3.60 when I rated it!!!
