Bottle, at the brewpub. An unclear orange colored beer with a creamy, finger-thick off-white head. Pine cones, citrus, some grass and a good dash of spruce in the aroma. Hints of malts too. Even a faint whiff of yeast, with fortunately wasn't noticeable in the flavor. Full body, nicely carbonated and soft, with a very light warmth. Good bitterness. Piney, spruce-ish and citrusy flavor with a decent malty backdrop. Perhaps a bit edgy in the finish. Anyway, a nice brew indeed, made for Christmas, but works well even in the summer. 240615

Pleasant and fine beer. Nice spruce profile. Clear golden in the glass and a fine thick head. Also a fine lacing down the sides of the glass. Looks nice and inviting. Good intensity in the aroma. More spruce when it got warmer. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Also a fine carbonation level. Pleasant and easy to drink. Fruity, spruce, citric, some pine and a fine malty backbone in the flavor [Bottle @ source] Brewery #2564 Norwegian Brewery #329
