Bottle from Ales By Mail [230114]
Golden amber, clear, thin white head that dissipates
Aroma - citrus hops, soft graprfuit, slight lemon, soft sweet fruity light malts
Taste - Soft citrus, mellow grapefruit, slight lemon, soft fruity malt, some caramel, touch of toasted malts, flavour a bit too light
Palate - Medium carb, light body, bit oily. Finish - light citrus, quite thirst quenching, soft bitter, light finish
Overall - OK but was expecting it to be better from the aroma. Prob better on cask. Donโt understand why itโs not in a 500ml bottle as its only 4%.

Bottle at home from oddbins london bridge. orange / light amber colour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is nutty malt with some caramel and berry english yeast esters. Some mineral character in the nose as well. Flavour is light honey / nutty malt, some caramel sweetness, mineral and english leaf hops. Solid earthy bitterness in the finish. Palate is fairly light medium body and slightly thin with a fairly dry finish.

Clear, deep gold beer with a frothy head. Peachy, hoppy scent. Peach in the flavour but itโs predominantly the dry hop flavour coming through. The finish is dry but with a sour, sweet tang.

Cask at Dean Swift with Sarah. Pours a clear amber gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has earthy grassy hops with a hint of dankness and backing bread. Flavor has light grassy hops with backing light grain, bread and leaves.

Bottle at home (badged as โThe Dukes Aleโ ). Pours to a clear amber/gold with a very thin white head and plenty of carbonation in evidence. Citrus, caramel and grass on the nose. Sweet in the taste but to a fairly low level, tangerine and mild grape flavours coming across. Malty backbone and a dryish finish. Not my favourite W&E beer but decent stuff none the less and enjoying drinking this as I review. Cheers!

Cask at Pigs Ear. Hazy amber beer, tidy white head. Light dry palate. Mild carbonation. Skunky Nelson with a little floralness. Mild marmalade underneath. Semi dry finish. Flavoursome but the Nelson is pretty skunky.
