On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy “bitter brown” with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing and low carbonation. Not much of an aroma – just some vague maltiness. In the mouth it is grainy with caramel and toffee. After a while traditional hops start to surface, and the finish is quite hoppy. This is decent – not the sort of style you often find in a “craft keg” beer.
