Bottle from Waitrose, Solihull. Clear gold with a solid foamy white head. A sweet aroma with hop resin, citrus, flora, grain; reasonable freshness. Taste has a nice bittersweet kick to it, somewhat resinous with citrus, mineral and spiciness. Medium bodied and slick. Good.

Cask at Nags Head, Shrewsbury. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma, just some traces of floral hops. In the mouth it is very briefly sweet before hoppy bitterness floods through and overwhelms everything. There’s some malts and marmalade too, plus hints of grains and golden syrup. Finish is dry and strongly bitter. This is decent – hides its strength well. More of an IPA than an APA though in my opinion.

[February 2022] Fair to say this beer has chnaged a little over the yeras, no longer as piney and hoppy as it once was, but still a decent ale. Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a hoppy, citrusy nose. Sweet malt, some toffee, citrus hops and hints of pine are all nicely balanced

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours clear golden with a medium sized fluffy white head. Aromas of orange citrus, floral, caramel and bread. Taste has more notes of citrus orange, some marmalade, caramel. bread and peppery spice with a tangy orange rind hoppy bitterness on the finish. Medium to full body, low carbonation and very smooth oily mouthfeel. Enjoying this one its a really good beer.

Foamy white head left a spotty cover on a clear golden still body. Hoppy, pale malt & lightly fruited aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated over the tongue with a sharp clean back. Hop forward tasting with peach, citrus, oats, grain & flora followed by a lightly malted finish. Well balanced EIPA

On tap at Akkurat. Copper with a small head. Mild and easy to drink with hops, some fruit, caramel and light malt. The finish was medium bitter.
