330ml can. Clear golden with a thin white head. Sweet grassy aroma, taste is light, sweet malt, spice, bitter. Decent

Keg @ The Baum, Rochdale. Golden with a carbonation and a small head. A lager in brewing style, but it has an underlying fruitiness in both aroma and taste rather than any malts so it certainly doesn’t taste like one.

Keg half-pint in The Haygate, Wellington Shropshire on 19th June 2016. Bog standard lager, bright, clean and clear in it’s golden looks, unlasting white crown on top. Slight malty sweetness fades to a mild bitterness towards the finish. Nothing to get excited about.

33cl can from Morrisons, Bracknell - ABV 5.6%.A dark straw colour with a billowing, fast fading white head; sweet corn syrup aroma; rather sweet, soft grainy taste; and a gentle bitterness with more than a hint of cardboard. East European lager comes to Oxfordshire, the hobgoblin must be spinning in his grave.

Can from the brewer’s own stand at the Witney Food Festival. Gold with a thin white head. Nice light frothy fizz, not prickly like some lagers. Light citrus and grass. Little bitterness. Pleasant and easy to drink, if unremarkable. I don’t normally like lagers, but this one seems quite drinkable.

Can from Morrisons drunk on a train. Vague hop on the aroma some citrus. Yes just a little off. Weird when craft beer is good its good but when its not very good its a bit rubbish. Some bland malt. Hmmmm. Not great.

330ml can, drunk overlooking the wonderful town of Shrewsbury, no comment on appearance due to drinking straight from the can. Aroma is lemon sherbet. Taste presents a curious sugary sweetness, some lemon, which fades to pale malt. It really does taste more like a lagered pale ale than an actual lager. No surprise there then.
