Fidens are renowned for some of the biggest flavours in beer - producing huge hoppy, hazy numbers that changed the perception of what beer can be. We heard these brew-legends were over from the states for Hop City in Leeds - and had to reach out! A huge thank you to Anthony (Head Brewer) from Fidens who made the journey to come over and see us, and more importantly work his magic on our brew-deck and in our tanks!
This beer is everything Fidens have come to represent. A thick and creamy mouthfeel, a pale yellow hazy pour, and an amalgamation of Citra (YCH 702 Trial, T90 & Cryo), Nelson, Nectaron, Peacharine and Riwaka Sub Zero Hop Kief working together in hoppy harmony.

Can. Hazy gold beer, short pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light pale malts, a good creamy sweetness. Crisp pine. A quite delightful smorgasbord of hop fruits ensue. Peachy stone fruits, crisp citrus, a little peel. Mild lime. Nibbly hop spice. Crisp hop spicy finish. Superior.

440ml can. Opaque yellow, white head. Aroma of peach, mango, gooseberry, onions. Taste of tropical fruits, peaches, mango, passionfruit, dank, weedy, onions, grape, gooseberry, bitter citrus. Full bodied, soft, smooth. Could've done without the savoury notes but no denying this is otherwise absolutely banging. And mercifully no sign of Riwaka!

Can thanks to my bro. It pours cloudy golden - yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is super dank, green, weedy, savoury, garlic, spring onions, bong rips, ripe peach, mango salsa, papaya, orange & lemony citrus, lemon curd and a touch of spice. The taste is firmly dry, some bitterness, green, weedy, leafy, dank, pine, ripe, spring onions, garlic, pithy, zesty, orange peel, lemon curd, peach, papaya, nectarine, mango salsa, spicy, nip of booze and floury bread with a drying, weedy finish. Medium+ body and well appointed carbonation. Bright, big, green and fruity. Hugely enjoyable. Best UK brewed hazy I've had in ages.
