We have taken our original Halcyon recipe, already known for its huge hop profile, and turned it up to 11!

It pours with an alluring light gold haze and the aromas radiate from the glass carrying forth flavours of peach and mango. The bitterness has been softened just a little, creating a pillowy mouthfeel and really allowing the complex and layered tropical flavours to take centre stage

440ml can from Thornbridge Beer Club - hazy yellow body with a solid white head. Lots of peaches and unripe tropical features, boozy burn at the end.

Keg draught at the Newsroom, Matlock. I have a bit of history with Halcyon as it was one of the first proper 'craft' beers I tried. This one is mid-gold and a bit hazy with a soapy white head and loads of lacing. Aroma gives pink grapefruit, some melon, a bit of candy sugar. Taste is bittersweet with some old-fashioned IPA bitterness coming through. Is it better than standard Halcyon? Just a bit. Good stuff.

Can at The Colmore, slightly hazed yellow pour with a big white head, aroma had big pine hits and light mango, taste has spiky pine, mellow malts, some grapefruit, not as west coasty as original halcyon, not much bitterness, ok

Can. Thornbridge Beer Club. Hazed paled gold. Slim lasting white foam. Grassy hop. Touch of pine. Bit of stone fruit. Good balance of sweet and bitter. Big on the fruit overall. Slick and juicy mouthfeel. Bitter finish. It’s hopped up Halcyon.
