500ml from Noz. Looks handsome in the glass with a good creamy beige head. Very very nice indeed, much more coffee and chocolate notes than expected with a creamy smooth mocha character. Lovely

500ml bottle. Near black pour with small beige to tanned head, moderate retention. Aroma of moderate roasted malt, chocolate, some creaminess and coffee. Taste of chocolate, cola, caramel, biscuit and blackcurrant hints, light hops. Moderate bitter finish. Body is somewhat light and fizzy - halfway towards a soda. Shame as its a flavoursome stout.

Creamy tan head stayed on a dark brown body. Dark coffee, roasted & chocolate aroma. Medium to full, smooth & creamy thinning out to a clean back. Coffee, dark chocolate, malt, roasted & caramel tastes with lightly hopped extremely bitter finish. Delish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the local Co-Op. Pours clear, rich brown with a foamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with creamy dark malts, smooth coffee and chocolate notes, low bitterness, maple accents, a little brown sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation and velvety texture. Pretty well balanced finish, more sweet than bitter, rounded dark malts. Easy drinking.

500ml bottle from Co-Op, Whitstable. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin, broken, off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, buttery yeast. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, dry ashtray, light chocolate, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

[50cl bottle from the Co-op, Crowthorne.] A glossy black pour with a tight cream head; coffee aroma; smooth with a rich coffee taste and bitterness from the roasted grains; then a dry finish with lingering bitterness, coffee and a little chocolate.

Bottle from the Coop that's by the Pets At Home in New Haw, not the one that's opposite the Chippy. Yeah, that one. Aroma had initial cacao that is soon joined by a big dose of vanilla cream. Dark. Positively Stygian. Fluffy foamy beige head. Medium bitter cacao... mocha. A tangy berry sourness then sweeps in. Peripheral creaminess. Light although it still has a creamy texture. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Hits the spot for me.
