My experience with Rugby Union players is limited, but I did encounter a Wasps training session on a snowy day in West London once. Easy seasonal Rugby special, hop-malt balance, nothing special but more than drinkable.

Cask at the tiny tavern. Deep golden colour with a white head. Light sweet orange citrus. Slight bittersweet to finish. Light body.
