Gajes (Dutch slang for scum) is a heavily dry hopped tripel.
We used a very neutral top fermenting yeast strain that produces a clean balanced beer with a smooth malty sweetness.
Three additions of bright floral hops build to a crisp-citrus-bitter crescendo (a gradual, steady increase in force).
A liquid poem to the glory of the hop", utterly deserving of its name and a craft beer you won't soon forget.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish malt, notes of ripe fruits, citrus, orange, apricot. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Nice malt and sweetish fruit aroma, good balance, enjoyable beer.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy blond colored brew with an dry bitter taste with good hints of grapefruit and other citrus things.

Full pour from The Saloon bar in Amsterdam. Sweet with hops, some spice, coriander. Good palate. The best new tripel I have had in a long time. March, 2024.

Bottle, 8.0%. Ok caramelly hop aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Very big stable whitish head. The flavour is caramelly, sweetish, herbal with iron notes. Caramelly finish with an uncompromising bitterness.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Troebel oranje bier met flinke schuimkraag. Aroma is licht citrusachtig en een beetje hoppig. De smaak is hoppig, citrus-achtig. Nasmaak is bitter maar ebt snel weg.

(Bottle, 0.33l, from an Albert Heijn, 20230518) The beer poured deey golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white and it lasted. Aroma had honey, floralness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, Belgian style yeast, spiciness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. Tasty.
