Gajes - Awarded 'Best beer of the Netherlands 2016' in the Dutch Beer Challenge.

Gajes (Dutch slang for scum) is a heavily dry hopped tripel.

We used a very neutral top fermenting yeast strain that produces a clean balanced beer with a smooth malty sweetness.

Three additions of bright floral hops build to a crisp-citrus-bitter crescendo (a gradual, steady increase in force).

A liquid poem to the glory of the hop", utterly deserving of its name and a craft beer you won't soon forget.

On tap at NHBF’16. Clear light-amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, malty, resin, fruity hops, citrus, smells like an old-skool American IPA. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, resin, citrus, tropical fruits, light grassy, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice tripel/IPA blend.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, vanilla and some lemon. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of vanilla, honey and some lemon, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
