20/IX/24 - on tap @ Borefts Day 1, Brouwerij De Molen (Bodegraven), BB: n/a (2024-939) Thanks to the Brewver crew for sharing today’s beers!
Clear gold blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, meh, not much going on here. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, pretty disappointing. Tastes a bit like an old school UK style IPA from the eighties. Aftertaste: meh, grains, hay, bitter, very grassy, rather disappointing. Too bad, I wanted to like it.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is tropical, perhaps with a hint of rye spice. Med body or better. Tropical, juicy, but not really sweet. Rye for sure. Moderately, ryely bitter. Pomelo zest lurks. Perhaps green melon and citrus. It's extremely pleasing and good tasting.

(Tap) clear, bright yellow color with a small white head; aroma of compote, balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish
