Bottle. It's a clear-looking dark red mead with a brown hue. Still, headless and oily. Quite a lot of honey on the nose, with alcohol, heather, generic flower and a good dash of red fruit. Lightly vinous. Warming, sweet, full-bodied and lightly acidic. Acidity mostly from the honey I guess, but possibly also some from the berries. Honey, heather, alcohol and lots of berry in the flavor. Vinous, iightly oaked. Lasting finish. A bit intense and honey-heavy this one, but nice anyway. 241223

500 ml slim bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 15%. Dark red colour, no carbonation. Aroma of heather honey, red wine, oak and red fruits (actually morellos and redcurrants). Warming mouthfeel. Sweet and complex flavour with distinct notes of heather honey, oak, red wine and morellos, some redcurrant acidity, hints of herbs and mild spices.
