An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is loaded with tart pithy grapefruit peel. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload - grapefruit peel piled on top of intense U.S. aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA.

Big offwhite head. Hazy brown body. Strong grapefruity aroma with floral notes. That grapefruit is really dominant. Dry mealy grapefruit taste with tropical fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry tropical fruit and grapefruit aftertaste with fluffy metal notes. Aftertaste kind of just fades out, leaving nothing, which is a little surprising. Itโs not really a very bitter beer, for whatever reason. (0.33l can, wine monopoly.)

Strong citrus nose. Clear medium amber colour, small and loose frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Nice full aroma, pale malts, grapefruit, orange, lemon, pine. Smooth taste medium sweet and bitter, light caramel, grapefruit, pomelo, orange peel. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, bittersweet aftertaste, grapefruit, bit pine, orange pith. Rather nice IPA, easy to drink.

Thereโs some malt in the background as well as some sweet fruitiness. Finishes with odd wet papery notes. Not sure what to say about this; not bad but this has perhaps been taken too far from the beer it is supposed to be.

Bottle, 330 ml at Majstor za Pivo, Belgrade. Pours deep orange with medium white head. Hoppy, fruity, citrus, aroma, malty, peach, orange, sweetish, moderate bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Decent IPA.

Sample at Bobโs Bar during the "BrewDog Preview Party" on 11/04/2016. Slightly hazy golden-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, piney hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short resiny hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is moderately sweet caramel and minimally sugary chrystal malty, citrusy hoppy notes of orange, lemon, orange juice, some pine; soft palate, gentle carbonation.

An orange beer, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has strong grapefruits, also sweeter blood grapefruits and mandarin. Nothing else but that juicyness is just great. Taste has grapefruits and blood grapefruits, some fructose, medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Strong citrusfruits flesh is nicely combined to other nuancees. Very succesfully beer.

330ml can. In a world with such a large number of grapefruit IPAs, this really does stand out as one of my favourites. The peel brings a zesty, floral grapefruit character, meaning that the finish is clean and bright. Thereโs plenty of lemon, orange and caramel in it too. An absolute belter.
