500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, dense, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mellow, caramel malty aroma, hints of honey and caramel, minimally leafy, hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and mildly bitter, grassy hoppy, hints of caramel, honey. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, dense, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Simple and monotonous - meh!

Karamellig herber Beginn. Weich, würzig, die Herbe steigt leicht an, süffig. Hellmalzig, geringfügig bitter, minimal hopfig. Mittellanger Abgang, gefällig. 11/9/9/9/8/9

Störtebeker Herbst-Festbier, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Münchberg. - Kupfergold, schwach trüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase weich karamelsüßes Malz mit fast obergärig wirkender herbsüßer Frucht und mild-aromatischer Hopfung. - Antrunk üppig und schwer karamelmalzig mit leisem Münchner oder Toastmalz, aromatischer Zitrusfrucht, Grapefruitschale und solider herbaler Bittere mit mediterranem Touch (ätherische Kräuter). Nicht zu knappe aber gut integrierte Malzsüße. Milder rezent, vollmundig; leise fuselig. Im Abgang aromatische herbale Hopfenherbe. - Mehr als ein gewöhnliches Oktoberfestbier, elegant malzig und mit unerwartet aromatischer, dennoch runder Hopfung. Ein Genußbier aus dem hohen Norden. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of biscuit malt, some grains, spicy hops. Taste of caramelized and mild sweetish pale malt, biscuit, moderate spicy bitterness.

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before April 2025. Slightly hazy, deep orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently malty and slightly fruity-floral aroma of grains, some lemon peel and a touch of fresh grass. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral and a bit grassy taste of grains, some lemon peel, a touch of honey and traces of fresh grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant lager, nicely fresh and saturating, much better than most examples of this style.
