YG 171124. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is wort, hop, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is wort, hop, fruit, pine, grapefruit, tropical fruit. Weird beer.

Can. It pours a clear golden body and a dense, two-finger white head. The aroma has a tropical fruityness touch, with some metallic, piney notes and some sweet biscuity malts. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, a bit too sweetish I think, with a decent bitterness. The flavor has some sweet malts as a backdrop for tropial, citrusy, perfumed and lightly piney hops. Medium length finish. Too weird on the hops this one, not my kind of lager. 241117

Can @ Home. Clear pale goldden undr a white head. Aroma is mostly from the hops and not particular strong or distinct, feels like green hop pelets with some generic citric fruits. Teste is light and easy, quite refreshing actually but plain and one-dimensional. Moderate bitterness. A bit thin body with the same aftertaste as the rest. Straight forward easy running beer, probably exactly as it was ment to be from the brewer.

500ml can from Eide Handel, shared at an autumn session with Finn. Chalk white head slowly diminishing over clear late straw coloured body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of dusty hops and cereal malts. Quite well blended taste of green hops and pale malts. Herbal drying close. Easy going. (Tromsø, 28.09.2024).

500 ml can, as Klokks Hoppy Lager, from Helgø Meny Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Very moderate aroma, a hint of spicy hops. Dry flavour, slightly citric, with distinct herbal and spicy hops.

0,5 boks fra HelgøMeny Hundvåg, hjemme: lys klokkeklar (jada, billig poeng!) med ok skum. Lys malt, litt citrus og hint av granskudd og urter. Snill bitterhet i avslutningen, og slett ikke så hoppy som de påstår.
