Can from Ottawa LCBO at parents’. Honey orange pour with white lacy head. Aroma is booze, butterscotch, banana, deep resinous hops. Taste is similar - deep pine resin bitterness, sweet hot booziness, banana and caramel. Dry bubbly finish with lasting bitter boozy warmth. Really good big resinous IPA - but more caramel than a Stone-type resin, halfway between that and a more Mikkeller-type IPA.

Keg. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, caramel and pine. Flavour of fresh hops, bitter orange marmalade and grapefruit. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. A classic IPA. Very good.

OK, from a bottle I wonder if this is just another ubiquitous IPA. Some sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Smells like strong IPA, what else? It looks like IPA, and hey of it looks, tastes and smells like IPA, what else could it be, a macro lager? No way, IPA is so much more macrotized than pale lager, hehehheh. Yea, another IPA trying to be an illegal imperial IPA immigrant without penetrating the border.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/10/2015. Pours slight hazy orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from sticky bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and slightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Sample at Bob’s Bar during the "Inaugural Bob’s Bar Sour Spectacular!" on 02/12/2016. The beer is a slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus,.hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Cloudy orange color, with almost no head. Aroma of malts, hop, cream, oranges. The mouthfeel is a bit mellow, same malt profile, but it’s also a bit creamy (buttery); nice hop component, not too fresh too.
Is this an old can?

Canette 473ml. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-dense, collante.

CAN 473 ML from bunget. Hazy golden-amber, white frothy head. Sweet malty aroma with the hops far in the background. Some yeasty off-flavour. The taste is moderately sweet, hops, moderate bitterness and that yeasty note too. Not bad, but certainly flawed.

On tap at Barley Brothers. Pours a hazy light yellow gold with a white head that lasts through the beer and laces. Aroma has musty pine and earthy grass with a wet grain backbone. Flavor has sweet grain and bread notes with a musty pine note.
