Bottle @ tasting shared by Joes. Opaque black color, average sized brown colored head that lasts for a short while. Aroma is malts, heavy vanilla and milk chocolate. Taste malts, bourbon, milk chocolate, vanilla, soft underlying roast, sweetish and bitter simultaneously. Quite awesome!

Bottle thanks to John. Pours a very dark brown with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong coconut, chocolate, bourbon, wood, vanilla. Thick mouth, chewy, bourbon, vanilla, cocoa, nice roast finish, very nice.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is very vanilla forward with nice chocolate notes. Some light roast and hints of dark fruit, but this is full of vanilla. Hints of alcohol spice. Pours black with a medium large, thick, light mocha head that recedes fairly quickly then lingers. Moderate lacing with medium small legs. Flavor has moderate sweetness with nice chocolate notes, both chocolate and dark chocolate notes. Some light roast with moderately strong vanilla notes. Medium light bitterness. Light oak and bourbon notes. Lingering chocolate and vanilla with quite a bit of sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied and silky with medium carbonation. Low astringency with medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer but it’s too one dimensional for me with so much vanilla. Not much bourbon or oak. Decent chocolate notes, but not much roast at all.

Draft at Churchkey for their SAVOR event. Poured a near pitch-black color with a tan head. Aroma is caramel malts, coffee roast, smooth vanilla notes. Pretty tasty, nice light vanilla bourbon barrel notes. Too easy to drink.

Roast and some chocolate. Tick consistency. Black pour with good head. Light bittersweet. Good package. Subtle barrel, which is rare these days. Nice. Tap at Churchkey thanks to Travlr.
