440ml can (from Chez Sophie), shared with Andy (AndyTF2) at Auntie Sue's BBQ on 10th August 2024. Black bodied, tanned foaming head. Malty and Oaty, a little sweet maybe but otherwise a decent Stout, with or without corners.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, a little adhesive. Aroma: malty, good roast, grains, rural impression, chocolate notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, good roast, pretty bitter, a bit metallic, grains. Aftertaste: bitter, roasted, some coffee, grains, dry, more roast, malty finish.

Keg at BrewDog Soho, 05/04/24. Black with a khaki cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is roast malts, chocolate biscuit, dark malts, charr. Taste comprises chocolate, dried fruit rinds, dates, charr, hint of red berries, toffee, roasted bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough straight up porter.
