Bottle shared at Casa JoseT during RBWG. Pours clear ruby with a light foamy head. The nose has a bit of toffee, ripe fruits, bready malts. Medium sweet flavor with sugary bread, fruitcake, berries, toffee. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with more caramel, jammy berries, bready malts. Pretty tasty.

Bottle at JoeT’s cat cabana. Thanks boss. Almost clear copper liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of raw sugar, toffee, caramel, bread and toast. Taste is medium to high sweet and light bitter with notes of caramel, toffee, raw sugar and dried fruit. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very sweet. Quite nice.

Bottle split at Joe T Baus, 04/02/16. Clear chestnut brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel, candied fruit peel, sweet, light spice, light wood. Taste comprises toffee, wooded notes, light barrel, earthy, candied fruit, bourbon infuse. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, sweet warming alcohol in the close. Decent old Ale.

Sample from a bottle at Ratebeer Gallery II. Pours cloudy deep amber with a small off-white head and decent lacing. Aroma is very spicy, oranges, pumpkin spices (allspice, clove), bourbon, oak, molasses. Flavor is the same, very spiced, too spiced. Medium sweet and a light zesty bitterness with some barrel astringence. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Not for me.

Bottle at Gallery II: Beauty From A Barrel. Pours dark ruddy copper with very little head. Aroma is sort of smoky bourbon red berry. Med body or better. Flavor is malty, tartly red berry - which could be cherry - a little bourbon, some oak wood in the finish. It’s delicious.
