330ml can @ Både &. Clear, dark golden with a moderate sized off-white head. Moderate aroma of citric fruit, canned peach, orange marmalade and caramel malt. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, some biscuit, citric fruit and average bitterness. Fine balanced body and decent aftertaste. A decent in the middle of the road IPA.

Bottle, at Både&. It’s a dark golden colored beer with a small, dense off-white head. Sugary sweetish pine cones and orange zest aroma with some pale malts in the back. Orange zest, pine cones, resins, bitterness and some pale malts and a bready hint. It’s full bodied, pleasantly carbonated and with a long hop dominated finish. Sure nice. 160227

Location: 12 oz can from Winooski Beverage, 7/10/15

Aroma: Has some pine and citrus/tropical hops, with a pretty strong toffee and bready malt backbone
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a smaller, cream colored head and average lace
Flavor: The flavor is fairly strongly bitter, the strong, malty flavor isn't particularly sweet
Palate: The body is medium-plus, feels fuller than you'd expect from a 6.7% beer, finishes dry
Overall Impression: Nice, well-made IPA here. Has kind of a classic West Coast IPA feel to it. I would call this one closer to good then great, but I still really enjoyed it.

1st June 2015: 22oz bomber into a La Chouffe tulip three times. Misty golden/yellow body, the head a white blanket on each pour, good lacing on each tipping of the bottle. Hoppy and semi-bitter with a good body depth of flavour: grapefruit notes leading the citrus feel to the brews base. Really enjoyed this beer, thought it classy and full flavoured.

Growler from Jacksons. At first taste, was bowled over by citrus hops, however that quickly turned into a somewhat metallic, astringent finish. Medium golden body with foamy head. Aroma is grapefruit, malt, yeast. Taste hits up front with hops, and finishes dry and tinny. 10/28/16 Bottle from Whole Foods. Much smoother than original rating. Citrusy with soft head.Dry finish, mild bitterness. Not very bitter for an IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice earthy bitter citrus with some sweet grains, a bit of grass and hints of pine and onion. Flavor has earthy bitter citrus as well with pine, grain and a touch of onion underlying.

12 oz can poured at home. Had this in a 22 not too long ago, but I’m going through a big can phase, and since I had this, I waited to do the rating until now. Pours golden with a mild aroma. Nice, well balanced IPA. Nice malty flavor as well as a nice hop character to it. Nothing unique about it. Just another good IPA. I’ll pick this up again.
