Sampler set at Open Baladin, Rome. Darker reddish brown beer, small head. Aroma is smoke, malt, fruit, sweet, bitter. Taste is the same, nice one

Open Baladin Rona draught, 5/3/24. Seems hazy. Darker amber. Big, beige head. Salt and pepper nose with a bit of bacon and some grainy malt. Clean. Sweet, malty, a bit grainy. Lots of pepper and molasses. Bit grassy and sharp on the finish. Malt and smoke lingering. Charred. Maltiness keeps it drinkable.

Smell of smoke, peat. Dark bronze colour, beige head. Aroma of smoke, peat, roasted malt, some tar in finish. Lively soft carbon. Medium sweet, also bitter. Very good.

0,4l on tap @ Open Baladin. Pours clear deep copper with a high creamy head. Aroma is smoked malts. Flavor is smoked malts, some caramel, hops. Deep, balanced, tasty.

On tap @ Baladin Open Garden. Il naso viene catturato dall'affumicato. L'intensità olfattiva è molto elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è pregevole. Il mantello birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è multidimensionale. L'amaro è medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi e affumicato.
