Klassiek gebrouwen dubbelbock bier. Natuurlijk vergist met een ondergist, net als onze D’n Ossebock. Naast de gerstemouten is het bier gebrouwen met Brabantse rogge (uit Geffen). Dit heeft een prachtige, licht kruidige toets gegeven.

Herber, dunkel getreidiger Start. Milde Süße, kernig, die Herbe steigt noch an. Süffig, leicht bitter, spritzig, eher schwacher Abgang. OK. 9/8/6/7/6/7

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small, frothy, fading, dark beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty, minimally chocolately and caramel malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, some caramel, a touch of rye spiciness, milk chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, and minimally spicy, dark and caramel malty, notes of malt lozenge, some caramel, a touch of cola, some rye spiciness.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well balanced, harmonious, nice rye spiciness - enjoyable.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van roggen en rood fruit. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet, licht kruidig en een hint drop.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Robust malty aroma with rye bread, caramel, toffee, spicy notes, dried fruits, figs. Medium sweet flavour with a light to moderate bitterness. Good body. Very nice, rich, strong Rye Doppelbock.

Bottle at home. Reddish brown color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, decently bitter for a bock, slightly metallic. Overall though: not bad.

Dark brown and clear with lasting head. There's roasted dark malt and treacle. Some soft chocolate notes. Rye adds body and spiciness.

Thin beer, a bit disappointing body. The rye and malt are a good taste, it’s just not that good overall, fermentation. Sterk ams
