Brewed using a long-forgotten technique from Southern Bavaria, this beer is not your typical lager. The intensive brewing process, which includes boiling the entire mash, creates a beer that has an incredibly rich body and complex aroma unlike anything else. Brewed using 100% British lager malt, hopped exclusively with Fuggles, and fermented slow and cold with our house lager yeast.

440ml can from the Jolly Vintner (Tiverton), drank at home on 1st July 2025. Clouded orange/gold body, short lived white head. Half-Heller Bock, half Lager. Not unpleasant, but not what I was expecting at all.

Can from Systembolaget. Bock like nose. Bright gold. - bit of sediment. Odd taste - like a German bock met an English ale. Im unconvinced.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is banana, some mild apples and a bit grainy and grassy tones. Flavour is herbal, some aloe vera, mild banana, herbs and a bit kiwi fruity tones. Strange.

Lett uklar mørk golden med offwhite lav topp som varer. Aroma; malt, sitrus, granateple, gjær. Smak; eple, malt, pære, gjær, humle, lime, lyng. Kort halvtørr avslutning. Spandert av Djoeye. Delt med Djoeye og Leif.
