Scelling 4 is een weizenbier met een volle, romige schuimkraag. De geur is fris met een hint van citrusfruit. De smaakbeleving is volmondig, fris met een klein bittertje. In de afdronk proef je de hop, gemoute tarwe en een klein beetje koriander en sinaasappelschil. Dit alles samen maakt Scelling 4 een heerlijk eigenzinnig weizenbier.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy to macropore, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Minimally bready, wheaty malty and slightly yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, hints of sea buckthorn, whiffs of white pepper. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally bready, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy, hints of yellow apple, some pear, sea buckthorn, diluted hints of banana, a touch of white pepper, mildly bitter hoppy counterpart.
Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Interesting, slightly untypical fruitiness, fairly refreshing - nice.

Bottle, hazy golden, small head. Aroma is yeast, weizen, spice, herbal, taste is the same, wheat, tart, herbal, nice one

Bottle. Color: Golden, dense white head. Taste: wheat, notes of citrus, yeast, cloves and coriander. Hints of banana. Pretty smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, soft carbonation. Ok weizen.

from bottle @LentebierFestival Leeuwarden 2018, hazy orange/golden with a white head, aroma is light, citrus, malts, straw, hay. Taste of clove, some banana, wheat, stras, grass, medium body, wheat, citrus, coriander, ok carbonation, average weizen. --- Beer merged from original tick of Scelling 4 on 18 May 2018 at 11:48 - Score: 6
