This is wonderful stuff. Golden orange pour with great head. Grapefruit and tangerine. Tart finish with some sweetness. Lemon. This is spectular. Bottle pour at Snally.

4/22 bottle. Clear gold, large white head lasts a while. Barn, laundry, old lemon aroma with some tired flowers, crackers. Plenty fizzy. Sour but not really sharp. No brooding depth to the funk but the taut finish is very nice. Overall: not wowed but impressed.

Poured from 750mL bottle (pkg 06/2020). Cloudy gold with minimal white head. Decent funk, a bit buggy, decent.

750mL bottle. Pours murky gold with foamy white head. Aroma has a nice, dry barrel character, some barnyard funk, tart berries. Flavour has lots of barnyard funk, dry barrels, bugs, dried berries. Rustic and funky, very nice.

Hazy, no head. The aroma is mellow leather, a bit lemony. On the palate, again lemon and leather. It's effervescent, which seems to cut the complexity a bit. Medium body. Good quality.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark golden orange with a large white head. Aroma has a nice barnyard funk, a touch of leather, and light mustiness. Flavour has a nice barnyard funk, champagne-like effervescence, and a touch of citrus. Dry, lemony, and funky, with a nice aggressive carbonation. Excellent, especially for a 1- and 2-year blend.

750ml @ Matt's house (thx for the beer, man!). Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: funky, some minerals, bold, bugs. Taste: along the same lines, quite tart, very assertive, even a bit aggressive. Overall: pretty good, but it requires some polishing probably.

750mL bottled April 2022, drunk April 2024. Moderately-strong gushing upon opening, even after a long cold cellar (and two years in bottle). Lightly hazy, having gushed. Muted bronze-lime. Massive, overcarbonated, white head. Nose is indeed massively fruity, lush and juicy with big malts, moderate amounts of well-developed Brett and light stone fruit on the finish. Very low lactic character, no acetic, no oak. In the mouth, after it breathes and the carbonation comes down to manageable levels, it's extremely malty, slick, wheat-dense and fairly sweet. Certainly lives up to its Young moniker. I appreciate what they're trying to do here and the fruitiness is there and enjoyable, but it's too sweet, ultimately, and there's zero sourness and only low levels of tartness. Probably a reason why gueuze is blended with three year old beer....That or you need to wait like five more years before opening.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 04/22. yellow hazy color, rather big white head. smells funky, grassy, earthy oak, peppery. Nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes grassy, earthy, leathery, peppery, oak, light sherry notes. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of grassy, earthy and peppery notes. Very nice one, very good to drink

Vintage 2018. 750ml bottle. Caps and wine corked. Piana spora strzelilo jak jakis mocno musujacy alzacki Cremant. Rosnie szybko, metne, o barwie advocata czy kogla-mogla, piaskowa metnosc. Biszkoptowa kwasnosc, limoncello z kilogramem wycisnietych limonek dlonmi Okrasy rzezcz jasna. Kwasne, wytrawnew, cierpkie i pelne, zbozowa slodowosc. Pycha do kazdego lekkiego objadku w upalny bezdeszczowy dzien.
