As this sherry-fortified stout matures, a dance unfolds on the palate. The stout's robust malt character, intertwines with the sherry's raisins, figs and dates, accompanied by the aromas of honey and candied fruit. The result is a brew that bridges the realms of beer and wine. A bridge that was complemented by Mexican Vanilla and Tonka.

Can shared at RJ. Oily black pour with a tan head. Huge, extremely sweet base that’s cut through by the spicy tonka and the tannic, nutty, fruity sherry notes and an intense level of acidity. A marriage between sweet and dry/acidic; layered, playful and complex.

Zwart bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is krachtig en bitterzoet met iets van rozijnen, bessen, wat caramel, chocolade en vijg.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours jet black with a a thick, dense brown head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, dark roasted, dark chocolate, umami, liquorice, Tonka, touch of marmite/soy, jammy blueberry, vanilla, blueberry muffin, ash and charred vibes. The taste is slick, oily, sweet, oily, unctuous, sugary, loads of jammy berries, blueberry, cherry, candy cane, cola cubes, raisin, sultana, steamed fruit pudding, heady PX vibes, honeyed cereal, vanilla, chocolate gateaux, coffee beans, some umami, liquorice allsorts, Tonka beans, warming booze and some rawness with a drying, warming finish. Fulsome body, average carbonation and slick, oily mouth feel. I Thick, jammy and sweet as. A lot of intense sweetness to this one...

440 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with huge dark tan head. Aromas of dry dark chocolate, chocolate fudge, dusty vanilla and roasted malts. Flavors of tonka, cacao powder, dark sugars, and oily roasted malts with use a hint of sherry. Quite sweet, but no hint of the ABV. Maybe the high sweetness is in part due to the sherry…

Super boozy. But the same basic beer underneath. Sweet but near balanced. Moersleutel adventkal
