Can. Dark brown, almost black. Nose is brown sugar, pears, esters, caramel, raisin. Soft and silky, strong and boozy. Lightly tart, big brown sugar and dark fruit. Doesn't need to be this strong, I felt, but very fruity and tasty.

440ml can from the Jumbo, Rotterdam Blaak and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is yeasty, earthy, sugary caramel. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, sweet, sugary, caramel, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average carbonation.

33cl Blik van AH. Donkerbruine kleur, romige beige kraag. Ziet eruit als een espresso martini in het La Trappe-glas, prachtig. Zoet, vijgen, dadels, donkere mouten, licht gebrand, hint van koffie en chocolade, zoete finish. Volle body, zeer zacht mondgevoel. Tikje te zoet, maar textuur en stijl zijn on point.

From Alko Hirvensalo. Smell of sweet malt, yeast, overripe fruit. Hazy brown colour, high light brown head. Aroma of booze, roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruit, faint yeastiness. Very sweet. Very flat carbon. Thick texture.

Picked this up for the novelty of a quadruple in a tallboy can. Pours deep brown with a tan head. Dark fruits, dark sugars, overripe fruit, a bit of yeast, chocolate. Full-bodied. Finish lingers with sweet and dark fruits. The alcohol is well hidden though in the finish you can pick it up a little bit. Surprisingly solid for what it is. No complaints.

Barwa ciemno brązowa z rubinowymi refleksami u podstawy kieliszka. Piana brązowa, wysoka, drobno pęcherzykowa o dość długim czasie redukcji. Ładnie krążkuje.
Aromat jest mocny, wyraźny, intensywny. Zaraz po otwarciu puszki pojawiły się nuty czerwonych owoców, dalej toffi, karmel i silne akcenty palone, kawowe.
Smak bardzo słodki a nawet ulepkowaty, skontrowany mocną goryczką i "przemyconą", minimalnie kwaśną nutką, co w efekcie dało doskonałą pijalność.
Alkohol idealnie ukryty, chapeau bas. Wysycenie średnie. Ciało pełne, masywne, gęste. Tekstura niemal oleiście gładka, miękka. Posmak długi, słodki owocowy i kawowy wytrawny.

Can at home. Opaque murky brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweet, sugary. How is this quadrupel? Tastes like a pastry stout. Style wise this is abominable.
