Can Ghost 944 #00391, 9.99%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, bread, liquorice and a little dark fruit. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, bread, sweet, little dark fruit, warming, liquorice and medium bitter.

deep dark brown colour, medium sized dense and quite stable brown head; aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, some burnt plum jam and burnt nutty notes; taste has the same notes with unripe fruity (plum) sourness and sour cherry; not bad, though I expected a bit more based on their other beers

Can at home. Grabbed hoping for Imp Porter style tick but still need the flavored version as well, plus it’s tasty. Dark pour and decent head. Nose is deep coffee and some maple. Tastes of molasses, thick coffee, earth, maple, touch of golden raisins. Bitter coffee grind finish. Some booze brandy finish.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight dark tan creamy head. Aroma of burnt/toasted malt and maple. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is b/t malt, maple, chocolate, with salt notes and perhaps a bit of musty wood. Some molasses in the finish. Not dry. Quite tasty.

44 cl can @ Kultainen Apina. Ghost 944, canned 01.06.2021. Can 00204/10000. Aroma has hayish oat and mild roastiness. Also cereal. Flavour has strong cereal tones, grain, salty licorice. Reminds me of some Omnipollo pastry stouts.

ABV: 9.99%. Hazy dark black colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, coffee, string coffee, sweet malt, vegetable - coffee vegetable. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, salty, dark malt, coffee, strong coffee, light maple. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20210406]
