Bottle from The Star & Garter, Bromley. Drank on the big day itself 🎂 🥳 🎉 ! Aromas of coffee, smoke, bourbon, dark chocolate, chilli pepper. Smoky sweet taste of the above. Subtle chilli heat. Really smooth. Top stuff.

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, roasty. Taste is chocolate, mild chili catch, caramel and vanilla sauce. Thick oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Good one!

I must say, this is easily the best $1.19 beer I’ve ever had. So much going on. I should’ve read the ingredients first: slightly sweet to pair with this salty Stilton. Regardless, a delight. #clearancejam

(355ml bottle) Pitch black pour with a little tan head. Comes across as a somewhat sweeter BA Bomb with a bit less crisp adjunct presence, but still nice thick roasty malts with chocolate and vanilla, good presence of chili warmth, softly earthy coffee and moderate bourbon, good burnt woody dryness. Finishes off-dry and pretty bitter with roasty grains and cacao, some coffee and warming chili. Medium-full oily body with a touch of booze warmth, not bad for the ABV. Nice big imp stout, not-quite-pastry but Prairie do know these adjuncts.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to New Ken. Pours oily black-brown with a light, creamy white head. Big and rich, with some sturdy dark malt character, chocolate, raisins, vanilla, burnt wood. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly ashy, with some baking cocoa. Damn good beer.

Got this from Etre Gourmet, webshop, Grez-Doiceau, Belgium Had this at home sat outside Friday 21st August 2020 listening to Tom Ravenscroft on 6Music. Pours shark eye black, not much of a head at all but what there is, is light beige. Some toffee pudding on the nose along with lashings of chocolate and a little nutty, oh and some vanilla. All of the aforementioned show in the mouth, the chilli is notable only by it's shyness. Some coconut now showing. I have to say that I am a little bit disappointed, it's fine but it's no great shakes.

Flaska från Etre, 2019. Kolsvart med tät brun krona. Doftar och smakar av kaffe, rostad kokos, kakao, mörk choklad, chokladsås, brownies med chokladtopping, toffee, Bourbon, romrussin, likörpralin. Snäll i chilin. Viss värme från alkoholen och fatet, men hade gärna haft mer av fatkaraktären för att väga upp mot alla tillsatser. Inte uppe i toppen av fatlagrade pjäser från Prairie, men mycket gott.
